DC's Assisted Living Residence Regulation Act (D.C. Code Title 44, Ch. 1) has no medical-director subchapter among its 14 subchapters (licensure, staffing, medication management and so on) and no physician-director role. Community residence facilities (group homes) are governed separately by 22-B DCMR Ch. 34, whose 'Medical Coverage' section (§ 22-B3401) should be checked directly before relying on this absence for group homes.
