Illinois drops the written agreement for pharmacists; Michigan and Wisconsin name the delegation instrument
Illinois pharmacists no longer need a written physician agreement in our research, and four states now carry a named instrument for pharmacist delegation. Plus the 52 jurisdictions where an RN needs no written agreement at all.

Illinois: no written agreement required for pharmacists
Our record for Illinois pharmacists moved from requiring a written physician agreement to not requiring one. For a practice that delegates to a pharmacist in Illinois, the written agreement is no longer the instrument our research points to.

Missouri: pharmacist work now runs under a named Written Protocol
Missouri pharmacists previously had no collaborative practice instrument on file in our research. The record now names the instrument a Written Protocol and files it as a delegation-type agreement.

Michigan: Delegation Agreement is now the named instrument for NPs and pharmacists
Michigan nurse practitioner and pharmacist records now carry Delegation Agreement as the instrument's statutory name; the physician assistant record is now styled Written Practice Agreement. Practices in Michigan should expect those names on the paperwork they keep on site.

Wisconsin: pharmacist delegation gets a name, NP and PA instruments restyled
Wisconsin pharmacists now carry Delegation Agreement as the named instrument, where our research previously listed none. The nurse practitioner instrument is now styled Collaborative Arrangement and the physician assistant instrument Written Collaborative Agreement.
